这是我在空间里介绍的第一个男歌手。现在把它重新编辑了一番，再贴来。原因有两个，一来，第一次介绍太仓促，又没有视听链接；二来，实在喜欢。
抛弃偶像造型，还原真实自己，Brian McFadden做了一个夸张的尝试，但却不显得做作。乍看一下，对于男士而言，有点过长的头发，还有密布的洛腮胡子，像一个不修边幅的老渔翁的黑白照片，（开个玩笑）可以做《老人与海》的封面的照片，却成了首张单飞专辑的封面。就是这样一个看似苍老的实力派歌手，曾经被评价为Westlife中最有贵族气质的男孩。本来以为他已经像后街一样年过30，结果一查才知道当时才满24岁！虽然造型和年龄是不太符合，但是却与他自我的，稍带粗犷的音乐风格以及苍劲有力有磁性的嗓音响应和。

她的这张处女作专辑Kerosene有很多值得聆听的作品。她不仅仅是一个优秀的演唱者，专辑中很多作品都体现了她作为一个词曲作者的才华，比如我喜欢的Greyhound Bound for Nowhere和Mama I'm Alright。她的外表和她的年龄一样，是稚嫩的，但是在她镶嵌着一对酒窝的天真笑容下，有着对音乐坚不可摧的执著和信念。她有比同龄人成熟的内心和对音乐的深刻理解，所以她写出了如此优秀的作品。她是一个能用音乐表达想法的歌手，吉他和嗓音大概就是她书写心情时用的纸笔吧。
介绍几首歌曲吧，
Greyhound Bound for Nowhere，歌词用细腻的笔触娓娓道来那一种失落的孤独，在谜团中穿梭徘徊，就像是在水上漂泊无依没有方向的一叶扁舟...开头Miranda吟唱的两句"Rain on the window makes me lonely, and time keeps on passing so slowly"把我们牵引到了那叶扁舟上，开始漫无目的的穿行...
Mama I'm Alright写的是一个离开家乡小镇的姑娘，在家乡以外的生活中学着变得坚强。
还有很多好歌比如"Bring Me Down",专辑同名曲"Kerosene"，"I Can't Be Bothered"，十二首歌曲让专辑听起来就像在洒满阳光的乡村小路畅游。
去年圣诞的时候专辑的销量已经突破500万张，被追加为金唱片，算是给这位年轻的歌手送上了最令人兴奋的圣诞礼物。

今天介绍个男同胞（一幅女权主义者口吻，嘿嘿）。如果你去问一个美国人，现在美国20岁以下最红的男歌手是谁，答案八成是Jesse McCartney。
外形与才华
说到外形，Jesse McCartney是注定要引人注目的。金发碧眼，帅气的脸庞，极具亲和力的笑容，近6尺的健壮身材，全部凝聚在他的身上。
但是光凭外表，Jesse McCartney不可能牢牢抓住歌迷的心，毕竟有漂亮外表的男生是不少。作为歌手，比起其他某些唱功实在让人不敢恭维的偶像歌手，Jesse McCartney具有娴熟的演唱技巧和动人的声线。在读中学的时候他的表演天赋就被发掘，如今作为演员，在电视剧中又有不俗的表现。
音乐
谈歌手，最终还是要回归到音乐本身。Jesse McCartney的专辑以Pop和Rock的风格为主，配合嗓音的特质，还融入了R&B等曲风。风格和嗓音大概也不是我最喜欢的类型吧，因为常喜欢听Brain McFadden，Elton John那一类型的男同胞的歌，过于沧桑，这个将满19岁的少年的歌总是有种不可抗拒的活力。专辑也充分表达了Jesse的积极的人生观和独到的爱情观。
热情与亲切
Jesse McCartney最喜欢的颜色是橙色，从这里就可以看出他是一个极具热情的人。他参与了他首张个人专辑部分歌曲的创作，花了两年的时间才完成这张专辑。专辑展现出了当时（04年）的他的青春与活力，每一个聆听他这张专辑的人都可以感受到随着音符洋溢着的热情。
他对歌迷总是十分的亲切，就像他的笑容一样。虽然还年轻还有些孩子气，由于7岁就出道，他的举止已经显现出了与同龄人不太一样的成熟。端正的品行更是容易过家长这一关。美国的家长总是对某些偶像的行为十分有意见，深怕他们会带坏孩子，但是如果他们的小孩崇拜的是Jesse McCartney，就大可放心了。
成就与人气
由于曾经在少年组合Sugar Beats里的出色表现，使得年轻的他就有过葛莱美的三项提名。Solo专辑发行后也得到了许多诸如美国音乐奖最佳新人的提名。
还连续三年获得美国电视剧最高奖艾美奖的提名。
首张专辑登上美国新人榜冠军和Billboard200#15，在澳洲和台湾荣登榜首，在香港也有非凡的销量。销量现已突破1000万成为白金专辑。专辑中的三支主打单曲和一张Live Tour都有不错的销售成绩。
从打榜成绩来看，Jesse McCartney的人气非同一般。
